How it Works
THE COUNTRY MATCHMAKER
The way you meet people through The Country Bureau.
I match people together and as has been mentioned before there are no computers used at all in this process. I use all the experience I have personally gained throughout the years to find compatible matches.
I take into account the area of the country that you live in and see how far you are willing to travel to meet someone. I then consider age, height, build, occupation, marital status and anything else that you may have told me about yourself. Usually I have a general knowledge of a client’s past and present lifestyles and what is wished for the future. A common link between the two people is very often found, but the final decision will always take into consideration many factors. Introductions are usually only sent out one at a time and I like to hear how both parties get on.
No first introduction is ever completed without both people saying they are definitely interested in each other. So after sending you and the prospective introduction profiles of each other I need the consent of both of you to go ahead.
When profiles are sent, for confidentiality and security purposes, the personal details only consist of a Christian name and a vague description of the area they live. At all times we protect your confidentiality.
If an introduction fails, I am always on hand if you wish to talk to me. You may wish to tell me in a positive way, why you feel that particular introduction did not work. Using this extra information, the matching process can then be refined and there will be better success tomorrow.
Some people prefer me to get to know them really well, by meeting them for two hours and talking through various aspects of their life and future partners. After the interview I construct, in the office, a 3 to 4 page profile of the client, which they are given a copy. This can be one of the most in-depth descriptions a person has ever had about themselves and greatly contributes towards their success.
